The air of calm adrenaline becomes the perfume of the Olympic day,
They are ready. They were born ready. Ready, Ready, Ready.
The taste of the game fills their mouth as yesterday's chants from coaches, and their souls surface on their “Championic” shoulders.
They tap their feet, pacing time, as they wait for the invitation to start, but time is for them, time is a witness to their dedicated hours.
Every fabric of their athletic being has made family with the players' carpet.
The players' carpet: the track, the field, the mat, the court, the crystal water, speaks to them in the language only they know.
The language they’ve been fed from the hidden room where they practice.
The map of the game lives in the veins of each player..the champion.
